VIDEO: Packers fan executes difficult reverse Lambeau Leap
This comes to us from Sunday’s Packers-Bears game, where Green Bay clinched a playoff berth with their 10-3 win over division rival Chicago. Afterward, QB Aaron Rodgers decided to celebrate with fans by lapping the stadium and giving everyone a high five … and as you’ll see, one over-eager Cheesehead let his enthusiasm get the best of him:
Yikes. The best is how Rodgers thinks about helping the guy up for a second but then just keeps going. Good looking out, Aaron.
VIDEO: New Dallas Cowboys fight song
This video comes to us from Mathias, a 50-year-old Dallas Cowboy fan from southern California, who decided it was time that the Cowboys got themselves a new fight song.
Apparently Mathias is not a fan of shirts, haircuts or melody, but that’s neither here nor there. It’s about the lyrics, and the sheer passion oozing from his pores:
WHOOOO!!! I am FIRED UP! Shoulder SMACK!!!
Note to Jerry Jones: pipe this song through the sound system at Cowboys Stadium, and you’re sure to go undefeated this year. No doubt about it.
VIDEO: Ravens OT gets rejected by goalpost
This is from last night’s Ravens 17-12 preseason victory over the Carolina Panthers. I didn’t watch the game (highlights here if you want to see how Jimmy Clausen did for Carolina), but this is the only play that really jumped out at us, so it must not have been that exciting.
In the 3rd quarter, Ravens QB Troy Smith scores on an 8-yd QB draw, and hands the ball to OT Joe Reitz – who happens to be 6’7″ and played four years of basketball at Western Michigan – to finish it off with a celebratory dunk on the goal post. See if you can guess what happens next:
Shutdown Corner has the full story on Reitz, who added almost 70 lbs of muscle after college to bulk up for the NFL. Apparently plyometrics weren’t part of Reitz’ training regimen, because his vertical leap has clearly suffered.
