VIDEO: Ray Rice Runs Patriots Out of Playoffs
By ArtieFufkin
The Baltimore Ravens defeated the New England Patriots 33-14 today in Foxboro, handing Belichick and Brady an early exit from the playoffs. As the highlights below show, RB Ray Rice led the charge for Baltimore, with an 83-yard TD run on the first play from scrimmage, finishing with 159 Yards and 2 TDs on the day. The Patriots were really never in the game.
RICE HIGHLIGHTS AFTER THE JUMP
The 2nd year back from Rutgers had a breakout year in 2009, with 1339 yards rushing and 702 yards receiving, and if the Ravens are going to have any further success in the playoffs, Rice is going to have to shoulder the load. Based on how big the diminutive (5′-8″, 208 lbs) back has played thus far, the Colts defense will have their hands full next week.

Boy did Bellichick lose this team this year or what!? It started with his mindless decision to let Richard Seymour go to Oakland. You have to really be looking to get rid of someone for them to sign with Oakland and then that absurd 4th down call against the Colts. Clearly there was a great deal of anti-Bellichick sentiment in the locker room. As long as he has Tom Brady, you have to give the Pats a fighting chance against anybody, but big off-season changes are ahead for New England. I wouldn’t be surprised by anybody’s departure, except maybe Brady. And that includes the surly, sweatshirt wearing, savant head coach himself. He is so bizarre you can’t put anything past him.
