Kerry Rhodes takes exception to his Madden ratings
By ArtieFufkin
In recent years, we’ve seen an uptick in NFL athletes getting upset with their rankings in Madden Football … a video game, mind you.
Well, New York Jets Safety Kerry Rhodes decided to voice his displeasure with the folks at EA Sports via his video blog. But Rhodes isn’t upset about his speed or tackling rating, but rather with his throwing rating. Again, as a reminder, Kerry plays defense.
Nevertheless, Rhodes – who went to Louisville as a QB before switching to Safety – decided to stage this throwing display for the cameras, in an effort to at least get his ratings higher than those of Jets C Nick Mangold. Comedy gold ensues:
I’m so glad that technology is giving all of these NFL athletes a forum to voice themselves. The contribution they can now make to society is really limitless. Cooley, Ochocinco, Rhodes … these are the pioneers of the next frontier.
