OK, This Whole Jumping Thing Is Starting To Get Out Of Hand
By ArtieFufkin
Another salvo has been fired in the ongoing freak-jump battle between Bears rookie DT Jarron Gilbert and Redskins rookie WR Keith Eloi. Most recently, Eloi jumped into the back of a pick-up truck wearing sandles, in response to the YouTube sensation created by video of Gilbert performing a standing leap from a swimming pool.
Apparently Keith decided that he needed more attention to one-up Gilbert at his own game – jumping out of a pool. So he does the same standing jump out of 3-feet of water as Gilbert did. But Eloi does it backwards.
Feel free to skip ahead to the :45 mark to watch the jump, unless you have a burning desire to know the names of 5 random dudes hanging out in a pool.
(ed. note – couldn’t one of these guys have given Eloi a pair of swim trunks for this thing? I mean, DJ Smoke, help us out!)
Okay Keith, we get it. You can jump. You also weigh approximately 143 pounds (listed at 190 … soaking wet while holding a bag of chihuahuas), whereas Gilbert weighs 285 pounds. That’s what makes Gilbert’s feat so impressive, you see. The physics of a man that large being able to jump so high.
Now if Eloi does this with Mary Kate Olsen on his shoulders, then I’ll really be impressed.

Impressive. Now get that man some swim trunks.
