T.O. can’t even be a good “Superstars” Teammate

I’ll be honest, I have no idea who Joanna Krupa is, but after seeing this video, I may have fallen completely head over heels in love with her.
Krupa (who is apparently a supermodel … bonus!) was teamed up with Buffalo Bills WR Terrell Owens on ABC’s re-launch of their classic 70’s reality sports competition program, “Superstars”. As you might imagine, things didn’t go so well.
In this clip, we see Krupa go on a profanity-laced tirade while she finishes the obstacle course, and then does what we all wish someone had done to Owens a long time ago: she puts him in his place & tells him to shut up, which is met only by stunned silence:
Let’s just hope Trent Edwards is taking notes.
“Superstars” premiers tonight (6/23) on ABC at 8pm ET. Here’s the list of teams who will be competing … I think ABC might be stretching the definition of the word “superstars” just a touch here. I’ve maybe heard of half of these people:
- Terrell Owens/Joanna Krupa
- Jeff Kent/Ali Landry
- Robert Horry/Estella Warren
- Bode Miller/Paige Hemmis
- Jennifer Capriati/David Charvet
- Lisa Leslie/Dan Cortese

This clip from tonight’s premier episode of “Superstars” shows why the lovely Ms. Krupa was so frustrated: T.O. got his huge feet caught in the obstacle course net, causing them to be the first team to get sent home. I’m not sure it quite warranted the venom Krupa was spewing, and she ends up coming off as a raging bitch. I’ll give T.O. credit for keeping his cool.
Good to see Dan Cortese and Jen Capriati are still doing well.
