Of Course. Favre could still end up a Viking.

We know how you feel, Brett.
ESPN’s Jeremey Schapp is reporting that X-Rays of Brett Favre’s right shoulder were sent to the Minnesota Vikings to determine the extent of his injury:
If it is determined by Favre’s and the Vikings’ medical people that he needs anything less than “major” surgery on his shoulder, Favre will un-retire to play for the Vikings, the source said.
If “major” surgery is necessary, Favre will remain retired, the source said.
But of course Favre’s agent, Bus Cook denied knowledge of any X-rays being sent to Minnesota:
“To play a 19th NFL season, Cook said, “Brett would have to be mentally ready to go play, physically ready to go play and want to go play, and I’m not sure all three of those things are there right now.”
Blah, blah, blah … Brett, I say this with all due respect, and with every fiber of my being:
Stop it. Please. For the love of all that is holy … just END IT! Nobody wants to see your over-the-hill ass try and squeeze the last few drops out of your career. You have nowhere to go but down. It’s time to hang ‘em up, and ride off into the sunset. You’re only tarnishing your legacy at this point.

[...] have grown weary of Favre’s act of late. We are well-documented in our distaste for his retiremental flip-flopping, which actually grew tiresome last off-season when he originally un-retired to play for the Jets. [...]
